We offer one-to-one and small group courses based in the Scottish Borders teaching you all you need to know to improve your landscape and wildlife picture taking whether you are new to photography or more experienced.

All our one day courses are geared to your specific requirements. Half day courses are also available, as are longer 2/3 day courses. Courses can take place on weekdays or weekends.

We instruct on conventional film or digital cameras and have equipment for you to use should you need it.

Your Instructor Ken McKillop is a successful professional photographer who has been running photography courses for many years, both for private clients and in schools and clubs.

For that special gift - all participants receive a certificate.

The course will be based in the Kelso area and exact locations will depend on what you want to learn. Most of the time will be spent on location learning photo techniques. We will travel by car to various locations.

You will need to arrive in Kelso at about 9.00 am and bring with you all you will need for the day. You will need as a minimum a digital camera or 35mm film camera. We can provide cameras and/or a tripod so if you require the loan of any equipment please let me know and we can arrange this. As we will be spending most of the time outside you will also need waterproof clothing, comfortable walking shoes and a holdall or rucksack to carry your equipment.
